A true friend never minds about age, colors, or what jokes you made fun of. So I’m thankful when I have friend like Dinoy Alamsyah.
Dinoy Alamsyah is once a mate, and a great lad. His name is kind of weird, but I never mind. I can’t even remember when the first time I had conversation with him. I don’t remember why we become that close really, but something in us just clicked and that is enough. Then, we made memory that so precious (with Sabar, Hadi, and the others). The MSG snack we enjoy, the odd (or is it even?) date ice cream rules, the anak kelas 2B talks, the emo bullying party, the other things that only us who finds it fun. Those were great years and I hope he had the same fun as I did.
Dinoy is a great ambitious creative passionate person I’ve ever known. He shows me to not wasting time when we’re young. He’s once known to inspire all the videographer on LFM to start making video/bumper again after a long break of hiatus after film panjang, Negative+ and the first LFMMM. And for that I envy him, I wish I was passionate as he is when I was younger.
So as years gone by, we’ve gone closer, we make bond, he’s once my staff and such great pal. I was older and he’s stepping the same path as I did last time. I left him my precious yellow notes and I know he’s making the best of it. I know he’s going to make (wait for it) history. The last time we met, he said he learned a lot from me but it’s never enough. I was touched and felt weird, because sometimes I am the one who want to say “I learn a lot from you but it’s never enough”.
Despite all great things about Dinoy Alamsyah, he’s such a lazy ass. Sometimes, he is a real bad procrastinator, a deadline chaser. I do hope he change his bad habit this year by becoming a fungsionaris. Ha-ha.
So, how are you doing? Do you have fun?
Meeting all those bocah and playing around with them. Because I was happy and you know how much fun we made last year, at least for ourselves :P Surely there’s time when I want to cry, all those hard rainy days. But you know, I hang on when I saw your laugh, when I heard your jokes on our staff meeting, oh how I cannot pass last year without you. I hope you find a great set of staffs this year, like I had you guys. It is fun to have friend to laugh about those Cakru, right? :D

So, on the special day of yours I wrote this special post of you. I’m no good of making video, I only good with scattered words. So the wish is to hope you live the year dangerously.
